Danny and Kirsty’s Wedding – Chinese Tea Ceremony and Banquet at the Sunway resort hotel

Danny and Kirsty celebrated their wedding day in January 2009 with traditional Chinese tea ceremonies and then followed up with a wedding banquet in the Grand Lagoon ballroom at Sunway resort hotel and spa. This wedding was full of emotion and a really fun experience. I believe it was this wedding that convinced me to start packing ear plugs for the traditional fire crackers we;come committee.

Stunning Chinese Styled wedding on Penang Hill

Wedding on Penang Hill

Amy and Henry’s wedding ceremony and dinner were on top of Penang hill. They had a TROPICAL 60’s theme. This wedding was notable for absolutely STUNNING views coupled with what has to be the most precarious tea ceremony I have covered so far. I was hanging on from the out side of the small venue.

Gaven and Joyce’s wedding day was a mix of traditional Chinese tea ceremonies in the morning followed by a poolside wedding at the Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Afterwards dinner was held in the Grand Ballroom.

Celine and Frazer’s wedding at the Holy Rosary Church and dinner banquet at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur

Celine and Frazer’s wedding was at the Holy Rosary Church in Brick fields. It was a VERY WET morning as you will be able to see from the photos. After completing portraits at the church we went back for the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony and then moved on to the Le Meridian Kuala Lumpur in Sentral for the dinner banquet.
