Too early to comment too much on the Fuji X-Pro1 for now but I brought one along with the 35mm lens to a wedding at Passion Road in Ampang to use along side our pro-cameras. I will let the images speak for themselves, but I think I like it.
Jasmine and Francis Wedding at Cyberview Lodge
Jasmine and Francis celebrated their wedding in style with an out-door ceremony at Cyberview Lodge. The wedding ceremony included the release of some fairly “reluctant-to-fly” doves, and, as Francis was formerly of the Alley Cats, the evening was filled with wine, women and songs from many of the guests.
Suresh and Shamini’s Wedding in Church of St John the Divine, Ipoh and the Victoria Holiday Villa Subang
When Suresh and Shamini contacted me to be their wedding photographer they explained it would be a two…well actually 3 day affair. The first day, not featured here, was their ROM (Registration of Marriage) done in Kuala Lumpur. The second day was held in Ipoh at one of the Anglican churches, Church of St John the Divine, St John’s Road, Ipoh, to be precise. This was followed by dinner in the Ipoh town hall. The following week we were the photographers for their KL dinner, which was held in the Victoria Ballroom at the Holiday Villa in Subang.
Clarence and Joanna’s Wedding at Divine Mercy Shah Alam. Dinner Reception at the Marriott
Clarence and Joanna’s wedding was at the Roman Catholic Church Divine Mercy in Shah Alam. Our photography started in the morning at Joanna’s house before heading to the church. Afterwards we headed to the Marriott Hotel where the wedding reception was held. This was one of those rare ocassions we did not need to do portraiture on the actual wedding day. I trust you enjoy their wedding photos.
Yes and Oyen’s wedding at Ciao Restaurant
Yes and Oyen called me to be the wedding photographer for their wedding at Ciao Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. It was a dream come true for Yes as she had been eyeing me up to cover her wedding for close on 7 years! Only problem was no groom(!) a common problem these days. Then Oyen popped into her life and sure enough after checking dates it was fantastic that we could cover Yes’s big day! This is the new Ciao. I had shot several weddings at the old one…some of them so long ago that everything was FILM based(!?!) This newer venue is really pleasant and the wedding was a small intimate affair with close friends and family. Everyone at the table was able to give a speech and many were very touching. As both Yes and Oyen are in the music industry, along with several of their guests, there were some lovely songs “gifted” to the couple, one of which was written specifically for them. A great wedding and one of those I will treasure the memories of for a very long time.
