Montage wedding album design for Marcus and Kathy. Their wedding was in St. Ignatius Church, Petaling Jaya. Dinner was at the Grand Plaza Park Royal hotel. Marcus and Kathy now reside in New Zealand, my home land.
David and Sally asked me to be the wedding photographer as they celebrated their big day in City Harvest Church (CHC) in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. This is the old church building. They have some lovely new facilities now. Good to see a church flourishing so well.
Ming and Ezane’s wedding was held at the luxury hotel Carcosa Seri Negara in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. The hotel consists of two mansions dating from colonial times. They were the residence of the British Governor General and Queen Elizabeth has previously stayed there, making it a fairly exclusive place to hold a wedding. The name Carcosa Seri Negara is given to describe both venues as one building is named “Carcosa”, whilst the other is the “Seri Negara.” Many friends flew in from around the world to enjoy the wedding and dinner banquet.
Do note the date of this post. In 2006 we were shooting film and digital simultaneously. The black and white images were digitized from the film negatives. I used Ilford HP5 and Delta 3200 exposed at 1600ISO to take these photos with a Canon EOS 1V. Digital Capture was with the Canon 20D, and Nikon D200 and D2H. Shoes by Jimmy Choo.
I have been asked recently to do a number of profile photos for web sites, or their LinkedIn and Facebook profiles. And as people ask me about the types of images I can do in my studio I have decided to post up these from a short session I did a week or so ago for the effervescent Rowena Morais. His Royal Highness Prince Andrew the Duke of York is visiting Malaysia currently and carrying out many of the diplomatic functions he does on a regular basis. This visit to Malaysia has a very heavy schedule and included visiting the war graves of troops who fought and died in the defense of Malaya. Monday evening he was scheduled to be the at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur to address the Alumni of the University of Huddersfield. The event was hosted by the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and I was asked to be the photographer to cover the event. Below are some of the images from the event.

The Brexit vote happened only last week so people were very keen to hear what the Prince had to say.
