Tejpal and Kiran’s wedding began with a sangeet followed by a wedding ceremony at the Sikh Gurdwara Sahib in Petaling Jaya. This Gurdwara is next to the Tun Hussein Eye Hospital.

Amreeta and Ravinder’s Sikh Wedding at the Gurdwara Selayang
Amreeta and Ravinder’s Punjabi Sikh Wedding was held at the Selayang Gurdwara near Batu Caves. The wedding dinner was celebrated at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Mel Kaur and Arvins Sikh Wedding at the Titiwangsa Gurdwara
Mel and Arvin celebrated their wedding with a mixture of both Hindu and Sikh traditions. The Sangeet was held at the Kelab Titiwangsa PDRM. The Sikh religious union was held at the Titiwangsa Gurdwara and the final dinner banquet at the Crowne Plaza Mutiara.
Kiran and Inderjit’s Punjabi Wedding at the Titiwangsa Gurdwara
Kiran and Inderjit’s Sikh Punjabi Wedding was held at the Gurdwara in Titiwangsa. On leaving her home it is traditional for the bride to shed tears, but the rest of the day is full of laughter and dancing.
Sikh Birthday Celebrated at the Gurdwara
I was asked to cover the 1st birthday and baby dedication at a Sikh Gurdwara last weekend. The ceremony began with some prayers, then we went out to do some portraiture while we waited for the guests to arrive. Then the main blessing ceremony was conducted followed by the cool Mickey Mouse cake and party. As can be seen it was a colourful affair The photos below are small sample of the 350 images taken.
