Grant has covered 600-700 weddings around the world and this experience really shows in his love and passion for covering them.
Paul and Marissa had a wedding covering several days and really laid it on for their friends and family who flew in from around the world. Day one was a welcome dinner at tamarind Hill. Day two the wedding at the Carcosa Seri Negara. Day three was a wedding banquet at the JW Marriott, held in a function room due to the smaller size of the dinner. Just a quick post today. I suddenly realised Chinese New Year is just around the corner! It is the time when families get together and celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. Over the season I do a lot of family shoots, both in my studio as well as at some of the larger Chinese New Year reunion dinner celebrations. So that means if you are planning on booking me please let me know soon to avoid disappointment.
In the meantime let me share what I usually do in the studio for family shoots.

Anna Lee is the co-owner and partner of That Special Occasion, as well as a good friend of mine and I was very please to be asked to photograph her wedding in 2002. Digital SLRs were rare and pricey at that time, so we shot film. I used Ilford Delta 400 and 3,200 black and white film to take these images. Their wedding was celebrated at the Holiday Villa in Subang Jaya.
I was approached to shoot the online catalogue for a new web store specialising in selling imported Tudungs. One of the advantages of having my studio in Petaling Jaya is having makeup and changing facilities easily at hand. It was a fun and fast moving photo shoot thanks to the lovely models.

I LOVE getting this type of feed back and it is always nice to hear. Sadly so many people deny themselves good photography on their wedding day citing it is too expensive little realizing that the only thing that will definitely increase in value after their wedding day are the photos. Evelyn and Patrick’s wedding was held at Renewal Lutheran Church, the Oasis of Care, in Petaling Jaya. The church has several venues for weddings. Patrick’s mother is a Korean Pastor and sang a beautiful song for the couple, while the wedding ceremony was presided by Reverend Joshua Yee.
I used my Fuji X-T2 in classic chrome for many of these photos. It gives beautiful film like images.
