I shoot every wedding as though it were my own.
Your wedding day is coming and I am sure you are filled with excitement and possibly trepidation! I would like to partner with you as your wedding photographer for your big day to make you and your friends look great in memorable emotion filled photos you can look back on in the years to come.
I am a professional wedding photographer from New Zealand who made Malaysia his home in 1992. Along with a handful of carefully selected wedding photographers who share a common vision, I have built an enviable reputation for quality wedding photos. I make this enormous pool of experience available to you every time we cover a wedding. I started shooting weddings in Wellington New Zealand over 25 years ago, and have photographed many hundreds of weddings to date and the number of photographs I have edited runs into the hundreds of thousands. My photography emphasizes capturing the emotions of your day in photo-journalistic style. A photo journalist is different from a portraitist because the photojournalist typically does not stage the action he is going to photograph. A photojournalist captures photographs of your wedding event as unobtrusively as possible in a candid way.
I shoot every wedding as though it were my own. I capture what I would want to remember if it were my wedding. We are unobtrusive, understanding it is your big day, not my “big shoot”. We are loads of fun to have around on the day and will make sure you enjoy it! My friendly easy going nature and un-paparazzi approach often means we get mistaken as friends of the family. This same attitude creates a bond between us and my couples. They know we consider them the most important people on the day and I have been told that our experience and professionalism often brings a calming influence to what can be a stressful day.
Many years from now, as you proudly show the photos to your children and grandchildren, you will remember the joy you had, the happiness that was shared, how you and your friends looked, and the smiles on your parents and grand parents happy faces. Some of you may remember that I did something more special for you than just “shoot” the day. You will realize I created an heirloom for your family to treasure.
Please read what past clients and their friends have said by clicking on the “Rave Reviews” link at the top of this page. I get many appreciative SMS’s and Facebook comments which never make it to these pages, but the “thank yous” there will tell you how appreciative our clientele are.
If you like my work please book early. I wish I could shoot everyone who comes to me but it is impossible to do so. Certain days are very popular. Bookings are often 12 months in advance, and enquiries up to 24 months in advance are not unheard of.

Thanks Nik. Yes the XE-1 is an excellent camera! BTW I love shooting in the UK…you get lots of interesting light through out the day compared to shooting in the tropics where its typically quite harsh. Enjoy the Fuji!
Hi Grant. I’m a wedding photographer based in Bristol, UK and absolutely love the images you have taken of the wedding here on your site. I have recently bought the Fuji XE-1 & 35mm 1.4 and absolutely love it to bits. Flaws and handling quirks aside the jpg files alone are just amazing. Keep up the good work. I’ll certainly be following your work on Facebook. Cheers!
