I receive many inquiries every week for email quotations. In reality this is extremely difficult to do. Sometimes people are shopping based on budget, and simply asking what price is your package is a quick route to us not shooting as it is simply a matter of both our expectations not being met, when in reality we can come to other arrangements.
The reality is packages are tailored to your needs. Dependent on the work involved and location, they can vary in price from as little as RM2000 up to RM20,000 for international shoots. (Before flinching please be aware that paying £3500 in the UK, or US$5000 for a good photography team is the norm in these countries). Please also be aware that post production work, coupled with the time on the shoot can easily amount to 40-60 hours of work. It is not just 10 hours clicking the shutter.
Shoots in Malaysia
vary from RM2000-RM10,000+ dependent on where they are.
Hint for you: 5-6K for a typical wedding is pretty much standard for good photography
in KL.
Therefore, if you email asking "How much your package" I will be hard pressed to answer you.
It is much better to contact me with the following information:
I will then either call or email you to arrange an appointment. Please note
I consider this a
preliminary meeting to get to know you, and to go through your specific needs.. Booking is neither expected nor asked, but at your request
may be considered.
BOOKING: Bookings are a mutual
agreement. We need to check our schedules and availability on the date, then
require a signed quotation with booking fees. If you give a verbal booking and do not follow up immediately with the
booking fee and signed quotation you are not booked.
