The Clutha pushes the same amount of water as the river Nile….a very swift river to raft down, and still one of the worlds richest GOLD laden rivers. Dig in the sand and yes! you find gold!

This museum is still free. They ask for donations only. Contains a Zero and Spitfire along with quite a good exhibition of weapons from through out history. Also the site of the annual Anzac day service.
