Barry Wong’s wedding ceremony was performed at the Calvary Church in Damansara Heights. As a long time member of the church and participant in the worship team, there were many family and friends in attendance as he made his wedding vows before God, to his stunning wife Alison, a stewardess with Singapore Airlines. This was one of the most touching weddings of 2012, and it was obvious Barry was head over heels in love with his wife. In the Christian tradition marriage is the highest covenant a person can make before God, and the messages of the Pastors, one of whom flew down from one of the largest churches in Bangkok reiterated this.
The wedding dinner reception was held at Ciao restaurant where Alison surprised Barry with a very beautiful song which brought tears to Barry’s eyes. It is rare to see a groom so in love with his bride and his speech reflected this. I wish them all the best for their future together.
